Biography
高校卒業後、誘われて行った「BUMP」の「WAKEN」で
CLUBという空間やNuNRG、HardHouse の音圧の凄まじさを感じて、
「いつかは必ずここでD.Jしたい！」と心に決める。
そのころ「CLUB CROSS」でD.J見習として働き始め、
そこで今のD.J TOMOHIROの基本形が叩き込まれる。
2年後、念願かなって「BUMP」のスタッフとして働くことに。
ここでは毎月世界のTOP D.J が集まることから、多くを学ぶことになった。
２０００年８月 BUMP主催の「HARD:EDGE」に参加、
１１月 「HARD:EDGE」のゲストとしてD.J TSUYOSHIを招く。
「BUMP」閉店後、D.J活動に力を入れる。
現在ではDJ TOMOHIRO主催PARTY「HARD:EDGE」をはじめ、
多くのDANCE MUSIC PARTYに出演し、沖縄県外でも勢力的に活動している。
繊細で巧妙なPLAYはオーディエンスから多大な支持を得ている。
DJ Tomohiro’s Profile:
After graduating from high school,
DJ Tomohiro stepped out into the night for the first time to the major club scenes of Okinawa such places like “Bump” and “Waken.”
There, his mind was swept away by the intensity of NuNRG and Hard House that resonated through the dance floor.
These experiences inspired him deeply and energized his new found determination to become a DJ that would someday spin at “Bump.”
He soon began working as a DJ’s apprentice at “Club Cross” and established his basic formation as DJ Tomohiro there.
Two years later, his desires came true as he was hired to finally spin at “Bump”.
This opportunity helped him grow to new heights and sharpen his skills from spinning with Top DJs from around the world that found their way to this local scene.
In August 2000, he participated in the event, “Hard Edge” held at Bump, and also in November of the same year “Hard: Edge”.
In those events, he performed with greats like DJ Tsuyoshi from the mainland of Japan.
Following the closure of Bump, he poured his efforts into focusing on his DJ activity and spun in events like “Cross Over” and “Hits” as a resident DJ.
In December 2002, his DJ career met new levels and that brought him to the visibility of Yoji Biomehanika where they co-spun at “Level EX004”.
At present, he continues to take an active role in organizing and performing at dance music parties such as “Hard: Edge”.
His heart inspired and masterful play is recognized widely by audiences across the local dance scene.
